Tinn Museum is located in Rjukan. Even though the town is home to large industry, the museum focuses on the historic farming communities and is the oldest in our region.
At the museum you can:
· Study building history from before the Black Death to 1900. The buildings reveal various development stages and social differences. Several of the houses are now historically protected.
· Upon appointment, we will provide a presentation on the large object/artifact collection which covers the Viking period to the last war.
· Take a look at the stave church portals, textile collection, material from the war, old prints and drawings. There are also numerous furnishings from the historic farming community.
